The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules for both infrastructure and building projects. The role ensures that all project activities are planned efficiently and executed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This includes coordination with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to track progress, analyze delays, and propose recovery strategies.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules (baseline, updated, and revised).Develop and integrate infrastructure and building timelines into the overall master schedule.Monitor project progress and update schedules based on actual site performance.Analyze critical paths and highlight risks or delays with mitigation recommendations.Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports with earned value analysis (EVA).Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors for data collection and validation.Identify potential issues in resource planning and propose corrective measures.Ensure alignment between cost-loaded schedules and actual project execution.Assist in claims and delay analysis documentation.Support tendering teams by preparing preliminary schedules and resource estimations.
