The Leasing Agent will be the first point of contact for prospective tenants, responsible for showcasing available rental properties, guiding applicants through the leasing process, and maintaining positive tenant relations. If you enjoy working with people, have strong communication skills, and a passion for real estate, this role is for you.Key Responsibilities:Greet and engage with prospective tenants, both in person and via phone/emailConduct property tours and highlight features and benefits of available unitsAssist applicants with leasing paperwork and ensure all documentation is complete and accuratePerform background checks, credit checks, and reference verificationsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of available inventory, pricing, and market trendsCoordinate lease renewals and move-in/move-out processesEnsure leasing office, model units, and common areas are presentable and welcomingMeet leasing targets and occupancy goals as defined by managementMaintain accurate records using property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio)Address tenant inquiries and resolve concerns in a timely and professional mannerQualifications:High school diploma or equi college degree preferredPrior experience in leasing, sales, or customer service is a plusExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesBasic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and leasing regulationsProficiency with Microsoft Office and property management softwareProfessional appearance and demeanorValid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if property tours off-site)
