Warehouse Storekeeper - Masader Investment Co Ltd

The Storekeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate records of all stock, managing inventory, and ensuring that all goods are stored properly and accounted for. The position involves the receipt, storage, and issuance of goods while adhering to company policies, safety regulations, and best practices. The Storekeeper also plays a key role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the storage area.
Key Responsibilities:Inventory Management:Maintain accurate records of all items in stock, ensuring proper documentation for every receipt and issuance of goods.Regularly check inventory levels and report any discrepancies, shortages, or excess items.Conduct periodic physical counts of inventory and reconcile with system records.Organize and label inventory efficiently for easy access and identification.Monitor stock rotation and ensure that goods are used in a timely manner (FIFO: First In, First Out).Receiving and Issuing Goods:Receive incoming stock and verify its accuracy against purchase orders and delivery notes.Inspect goods for damage and report any issues to the relevant departments.Prepare and issue goods to internal departments or customers according to requests.Ensure proper documentation for goods received, stored, and issued.
Warehouse Organization and Maintenance:Ensure that the warehouse/storage area is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.Ensure proper handling and storage of all items, with special care for perishable or sensitive goods.Manage the safe use of equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and others, when applicable.Ensure compliance with safety, security, and company policies at all times.Reporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate records of all transactions (receipts, issuances, returns) in the inventory management system.Assist in the preparation of monthly or quarterly inventory reports.Alert management to stockouts, overstocking, or items approaching expiration.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with procurement, logistics, and other departments to ensure the smooth flow of goods.Communicate stock levels and requests for restocking to the relevant department heads.Assist in identifying and resolving issues in inventory management processes.
